Hot Bath Temperature

What is the ideal temperature for the hot baths in the 100 day plan ?

"Hi Marius,

I have been doing cold baths after hard days but have a question about the hot baths. You write, and I quote: "On easy days, a better alternative is to do hot baths of 10-15 minutes. The ideal temperature is from 5-10 degrees C, or about 42 to 52 F."

I was wondering, does that temperature refer to the cold baths not the hot? 42 degrees is pretty cold! Not hot. :)

If that is the case, what is the ideal temperature for the hot baths? As hot as you can bare?

Thank you for your time in answering my question.

Ryan"

Answer: Hi Ryan, I hadn't noticed that, but you are right - it refers to the cold baths :)

For the hot ones, you want to do really on the edge of what you can take.

I've found this to be extremely effective and one of the few ways (together with the 5 x 20/20 after runs and cross friction massage ) that can actually substantially reduce recovery time between session. It is much, much more effective vs. trying to do it through nutritions etc.

Thanks again for the question and all the best,

Marius
