Heart Rate Reserve vs. Max Heart Rate
Which heart rate formula :
Would it make a big difference in heart rate training using the Karvonen heart rate method of using percentage of heart rate reserve to figure out zones as opposed to the conventional method of using percentage of you max heart rate. Could you explain the difference between the two and why it is you use the convential method in the 100 day plan?"

To sum it up, it has to do my personal experience with runners in particular, on why I use the conventional method. However, in either case, it is ALWAYS the best to use a max test like I talk about there, to really find the exact value.
