Pace for test runs

Pace on the test runs of the 100 day plan :
"What pace should I run for the 5k and 10k test runs in the 100-day marathon program?"
Answer: Hi Willie and thanks for your question.
You want to run as fast as you can on these. Try and pace yourself at about the pace you think you can go in the 5k test race (based on your previous races or your goal marathon time translated into a 5k) and run even paced.
Then, use that finishing time to pace yourself evenly for the 10k. If you feel great when 70-80% are run of these test runs, push really hard for the last part of them.
But either way, this is a race - so go "all out"
