Race day meals - if early race

Race deal meals, if you run early in the morning.

"Hi Marius,

Hi, in Chapter 7 you talk about what to eat and drink on race day.

Here most of the races start at 7 am. How do I adjust the race day meal. Do I have to weke up real early?

Thank you."

Answer: In the case of a race that early, I would probably get up 2 hours before the race at 5 am and have a medium meal right after I hit the alarm clock.

2 hours is usually enough for the meal to settle a bit, at the same time you don't want to get up earlier than that, as sleep is important the day before a race. So that would sort of be the middle ground here :)
