Sessions instead of races

Small changes to the schedule, instead of races :

"Hi Marius,
As regards to session 1 in week 6, would it be ok to change the 2 min rest between efforts to easy running until recovered thus creating a longish fartlek run.I have no 5k race planned for this week.

Answer: Hi CJD, yes you may do that - however, I encourage doing a very hard 5k tempo run instead, if possible. That would be the closest you'll get to an actual 5k race and will be beneficial to the whole structure of the program.
